Hi there. Welcome to my website.
I’m Erika, a UX/UI Designer currently in Denver, CO. I've chosen UX as my career path because I want to make the world a better place through design. I love how UX blends design, technology and psychology to create magical experiences for users that enhance their lives.
Design has been a part of my life since I was a child. I would bake cakes just so I could decorate them and create something not only delicious but beautiful. I was fascinated by the balance between form and function and always wondered how I could make something beautiful that could help people (or at least make them happy!).
I discovered my love for psychology in high school and became motivated by discovering how people think and interact with the world, especially through technology. This led me to obtain a B.A. in International Studies from Colorado State University. I was able to study not only Psychology but also Anthropology, Art History, and Linguistics to better make sense of the world. I now use this background to understand users’ motivations and underlying pain points so I can design products that improve their lives.
